Mobile banking is consolidating as a strategic choice among Latin American banks

Mobile banking has become a must-have for the customers relationship strategy for 2 out of 3 banks in Latin America, according to the third study "Mobile Banking in Latin America" carried out by Latinia among the 100 main institutions on the continent.

Progress is significant since it improves in 20% the results of the previous analysis from 2009, and if we go back to the first study, in 2008, numbers of progress turn very significant, since then, mobile banking penetration was restricted to just over one out of three institutions (38%). In less than three years, time between the first and recent third study, there is a noticeable growth of up to 74% in mobile finance penetration in Latin America.
