Using technologies to access financial services
It is estimated that more than half the population of Latin America and the Caribbean lack access to basic formal banking services. Expanding this access remains as a major challenge in the countries of the region. However, in recent years, several initiatives to achieve greater penetration of financial services using technology have been developed.
